Prevar appoints new Chairman, Jim McLean

The Prevar Board of Directors is pleased to announce that they have recently appointed experienced company director Mr Jim McLean (pictured) as the independent Chairman of Prevar Limited.
This appointment follows the retirement of David Pilkington from this role.
Prevar is the company established to globally commercialize the new apple and pear cultivars breed by renowned fruit science company Plant & Food Research.
Mr McLean is the former Board Chairman of HortResearch and led the merger between this organization and Crop & Food Research to form Plant and Food Research in 2008.
He brings commercial, plus science and intellectual property management experience to this role at Prevar.
